the birches...



The birches they were as silent as they were upright. The birches
they vere as black as they were slight. On the top the man stretched
out for the heaven's stars and wept as if he was in his mother's grasp.
Up against the sky was a hill-crest, his eyes sinked down
to the birches which were women.

Against the sky was a mountain ridge, his gaze fell
towards the birch trees which were women
